Band #1: Strept They sounded awesome. A great opening band, I was loving Smalltime and Road, as always. They put on a good show and sounded good. Band #2: Dekcuf My second time seeing these guys. They aren't so much my style, but they sounded pretty good and rocked hard. Band #3: The Rebel Blues Band Not my cup of tea, but it was nice seeing diversity in the bands playing. Band #4: Sleep Machine First time I've seen them live. They are kinda mellow, but they are really good. The singer has an interesting singing style and he screams pretty good. They were pretty sweet. Band #5: Subconcious My first time seeing them too. I listened to a few recordings and these guys sound a bit different live. They really got the crowd going though. Band #6: Dead on Fourth I love these guys, and they sounded better than ever. I'd describe them as mellow metal. Band #7: Delmag First time I saw them since January, they played a decent set. A few new songs and a couple old favorites. They didn't play Twenty Second Hour though... Band #8: Unjust A band from Ohio. They were pretty good, but as many say... our local boys kicked their asses! Band #9: Twelve Tribes The singer had some pretty sweet dreads, and the music was awesome. The crowd really got going to this band. I bet these guys will be back. Band #10: 36 CRAZYFISTS 36 was fucking awesome. When they played the whole crowd went insane. They played Bloodwork, At The End of August, Kenai, and a lot more. The encore was Slit Wrist Theory of course. Their hour long set seemed way too short. The bands were awesome, the music didn't dissapoint me at all. But everything else wasn't the best. My #1 problem was that there were no water fountains, so if we were thirsty we had to buy bottled water. Sure, more money for them... but thats just mean to us. There wasn't a cloud in the sky, and normally I wouldn't complain, but it was so hot I was wishing it would have rained. After 10 hours in the sun, I was completly burnt. Also, for the last few bands, there were so many crowd surfers a lot of people were getting pissed off. They were mean to the crowd surfers and pushed them, but the crowd surfers just liked it more. And I was wearing my glasses in the crowd so I could actually see the band, and a crowd surfer kicked me in the face and my glasses flew off and someone stepped on them. Oh well, I was needing contacts anyway. So overall, the show was pretty sweet. The music was awesome, but some other parts wern't. But it was worth the $40 and I'll be back for next years.
