Ultimate Armor: At the character select screen, highlight X, press O twice, then press LEFT 6 times, then hold L1 + R2 and press START. When the game begins, X should be in a purple and blue suit. Work your way to the Web spider stage. When you get to the place where the Boots capsule should be, then jump into it to get the Ultimate Armor!

Black Zero: This code has no effect on gameplay! At the character select screen, highlight Zero, hold the R1 button, press RIGHT six times, release R1, hold O and press START. When the game starts, Zero will be in Black instead of red!

X's Capsules
Boots capsule: In the Web Spider stage 1, play up to the first drop downward, after falling through the opening where the little spike thing is, keep to the right and jump. You should enter a hidden cavern where you will find the boots adapter.
Armor Capsule: In the Magma Dragoon stage 2, play until you get to the robot ride armor, there is a ledge up and to the right. Use the robot to jump to the ledge. YOU MUST HAVE THE ARM MODULE AND HAVE BEATEN SLASH BEAST. Charge Twin Slasher to destroy the wall. The armor module is beyond the wall.
